Petrick and Clan created a pixel voxel video for the new Yota campaign. Their new family plan allows to connect up to 6 people, leaving each one of them the possibility to tailor the plan for their specific needs.
We wanted the audience to relate to the characters, so we filled the environment with post-soviet interior details. They contribute to the flat looking lively instead of perfect and somewhat cold.
Preparing the design for the 3D turned out to be a tricky task: we had to make sure that the character will get the depth of a sculpture when we transform it to voxels, but inherits it’s own traits.
We also had to ensure that the design is scalable. To make it happen, we captured the characters’ main traits so that they were recognisible, yet didn’t look like a standard zoom-in.
